Engagement Overview
This engagement is to support a multi-year contract to provide analytical and SharePoint development services to support for the Chief Information Officer (CIO). 
Position Description
Mid to Senior-level SharePoint developer/architect to support the CIO program teams in the development of sites, workflows, data collection forms, concept searching, and dashboards 


  • Inventory organization’s as-is content (shared drives, portal repositories, SharePoint site collections)
  • Gather requirements to understand each organization’s function and how they want to use an new integrated intranet site
  • Analyze organization functions to recommend a Target SharePoint Architecture and Design which eliminates gaps, redundancies, and provides opportunities to improve performance, collaboration, and integration
  • Design the new site, with wireframes and other visual techniques
  • Map the existing content to the new site
  • Support the maturation of a comprehensive taxonomy and optimization of metadata tagging
  • Serve as site collection admin and content manager until delegated to the operations and maintenance staff.
  • Engage in regular and sustained client interaction, encompassing both formal presentations and informal, routine communication
  • Lead software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming, and unit testing for SharePoint applications
  • Develop documentation and briefings
  • Perform tasks on time and with high level of diligence
  • Engage with technology and business stakeholders and serve as a liaison
  • Support senior management in the development, communication, and execution of the program’s strategy
  • Work with business leaders to understand their needs and expand the use of SharePoint to address those business needs
  • Possess strong management consulting and communication skills with proven ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization using both executive presentations and other documentation
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience with SharePoint Online
  • Essential function of this position includes face to face interaction with the client.


  • 4-10 years’ experience working within a software development lifecycle
  • Must possess an in depth understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
  • 2010/2013, SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 and InfoPath 2010/2013
  • Extensive knowledge of building complex SharePoint Workflows using SharePoint Designer 2010/2013
  • Extensive knowledge of InfoPath 2010/2013 integrating forms using SharePoint 2010/2013
  • SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of data view web part (DVWP), content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization
  • Project Web App (PWA) for Project Online 
  • Ability to elicit requirements from key stakeholders
  • Experience developing wireframes
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, written communication skills, analytical and effective consulting skills 
Desirable Qualifications

  • Advanced SharePoint customization and development techniques within SharePoint 2010, 2013, or SharePoint Online
  • Managing and administering sites and permissions
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint collaboration, workflow, content management, records, document management, search, and   business intelligence / reporting
  • Working knowledge of Concept Searching’s conceptSearch and conceptClassifer
  • Working knowledge of Records Management implementation within SharePoint 

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of technology or management. MBA or equivalent degree a plus
Clearance Requirement: 
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to successfully pass a background investigation to obtain security approval and authorization to perform work on the client contract
