Overview

The Information Security Analyst will apply best security practices for Financial Web/Native Mobile Applications. To compile, research, analyze and document data, requirements, workflow/ processes, functionality and or controls for respective ISD group. To develop and evaluate information, and prepare recommendations based on analysis for use in decision making. Applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and relates fields. Work on the most complex, high impact projects. Serve as technical specialist or advisor to the respective group. 

This position is W2 salaried with full benefits.

Responsibilities

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for:

  • Supporting the Mobile and Online Teams
  • Aiding in the planning and administration of security programs
  • Protecting customers infrastructure
  • Helping to develop polices, standards and procedures
  • The operation and maintenance of existing security tool deployments
  • Assisting with incident response activities
  • Assisting with the development of new architectures and tool deployments

This resource needs to proficient in applying best security practices for Web/Native Mobile Applications in the Financial Services Sector- REQUIRED The Security Analyst is responsible for assisting our Mobile and Online team in planning and administration of our security programs. Mobile/Online and Financial Institution experience This position will help develop the polices, standards and procedures necessary to protect customers infrastructure. Installing, configuration, monitoring and managing of network systems to include Cisco Switches, Cisco routers, Cisco firewalls and servers Assist with incident response activities requested by the client Assist with the development of new architectures and tool deployments to augment existing client capabilities Knowledge of IT security architecture and design (firewalls, intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networking and virus protection technologies An acknowledged industry Cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CAP is desired. A minimum of 3 years experience in the information security field Operation and maintenance of existing security tool deployments (i,e account management, patch management, configuration management, documentation maintenance

Qualifications

Required

  • Mobile and/or Online experience
  • Installing, configuration, monitoring and managing of network systems to include Cisco Switches, Cisco routers, Cisco firewalls and servers
  • Knowledge of IT security architecture and design
    • Firewalls
    • Intrusion Detection Systems
    • VPN
    • Virus Protection
  • Account Management, Patch Management, Configuration Management
  • Documentation Maintenance
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in information security

Desired

  • Financial Institution experience a plus
  • Cyber Security Certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CAP)
