The engagement is to support a PMO at a large and diverse federal agency The Business Analyst will provide program management office (PMO) support at a federal agency. The program provides business management support to the agency’s Information Technology mission and strategic goals.  The Office is responsible for the business functions associated with the executing the agency’s IT mission needs. This includes stakeholder communications and outreach, monitoring and responding to internal or external requests for inquiries, and managing reporting requirements both internally and externally


  • Develop communications materials, including written and graphical
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and making procedures more efficient
  • Gather data on projects, produce reports and analyze information to identify trends
  • Facilitate meetings and stakeholder engagements
  • Create and maintain status reports and item tracking facilities for upcoming events or tasks
  • Create, maintain and update SharePoint lists/libraries for tracking and reporting
  • Notetaking and action item capture
  • Managing the capture, review and dissemination of meeting minutes and other outputs from meetings


  • 4+ years of analyst experience in either private or public sector organization
  • Process improvement identification and implementation skills
  • Solid facilitation skills
  • Strong and concise writing skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Microsoft SharePoint proficiency – managing and maintaining lists, libraries, etc.
  • Effective communication skills, speaking comfortably with all levels of the organization (especially leadership)
  • Desired- Graphic design skills using standard tools such as Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint
  • Desired - DHS HQ experience PMO experience preferred, BPR experience preferred, Technical skills helpful, and people skills and team oriented approach preferred

Clearance Requirement: US Citizen. Active DHS Suitability and Public Trust Clearance desired.
