Our firm is in need of an independently minded business process re-engineering (BPR) analyst to support a dynamic commercial organization. The analyst will lead the BPR effort to modernize key functions of the client organization within the next two years. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex business processes, proven results in BPR, and excellent customer interaction skills. This is an extremely independent and high-profile position, serving as the primary customer interface as well as designing the approach/tasks/schedule, and performing the process modeling and analysis work.


  • Designs approach to document and analyze current state processes which include supporting technologies, data and performance.
  • Designs and executes market research and key industry trend research to drive development of target state processes
  • Conducts analysis of business processes: current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification, and modeling future state processes. Can articulate and organize challenges and key findings using substantive data.
  • Works with client staff to coordinate discrete BPR efforts for indivdiual business functions, bringing business users and technology staff together.
  • Gathers documentation and researches client processes to inform current state modeling.
  • Facilitates client interviews, working sessions, status check-ins, and formal briefings.
  • Creates As-Is and To-Be process models using the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) 2.0 standard
  • Uses Lean Six Sigma and related methodologies to identify pain points and reengineer processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collects metrics to quantify pain points and potential Return On Investment (ROI) of future modernization efforts.
  • Create and present engaging, detailed briefings of project findings to executive sponsors.
  • Coordinates larger BPR effort to ensure enterprise-wide integration and refinement of existing business architecture.

  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups
  5. Experience with process improvement
  6. Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 and process modeling using MS Visio 2016
  7. Proficiency in change management and stakeholder engagement strategies\8. Derivation of key findings which are substantiated with data, trends and analytics

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 5-years related experience

Desired skills

  1. Experience with Associations
  2. Lean Six Sigma certified
