Overview

This engagement is to support a multi-year contract on a large team of analysts and developers providing support for a Department Headquarters Office of the CIO (OCIO).  This position will provide senior leadership in the development, communication, and execution of the program’s strategy. Leadership experience with Web Services and Drupal. Engage with technology and business stakeholders and serve as a liaison. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical authority for new or enhanced information systems software.
  • Assist in planning, directing and coordinating the implementation and execution of approved policies, programs and services in compliance with ISO 20000 implementation
  • Oversee or coordinate the preparation of testing and implementation plans
  • Oversee the migration of systems to the cloud
  • Expertise in Github, git, Akmai CDN, New Relic, Drupal, json, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Google Analytics
  • Coordinate the common use of core software across multiple platforms and the troubleshooting procedures for related applications.
  • Project Management, project planning and assistance in estimating costs for projects
  • Develop specifications for user instruction manuals based on customers' needs.
  • Evaluate and act on security scans; manage security controls and tools
  • Recommend and implement security policies
  • Firewall and Blue Coat proxy configuration
  • Process SSL security certificates
  • Ensure adherence to NIST 800-53 security controls
  • Ensure and support security control assessment for the ATO process

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Drupal and Web Services Architecture.
  • Expertise in Github, git, Akmai CDN, New Relic, Drupal, json, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Google Analytics
  • US Citizenshp
  • Nice to have would be to also have SharePoint migration leadership experience and expertise, specifically:
    • SharePoint administrative knowledge
    • Experience migrating SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2016
    • Experience migrating SharePoint on-premises farms to O365/SharePoint Online
    • Extensive SharePoint development experience building solutions for SharePoint 2013/SharePoint Online
    • Deep understanding of different authentication methods, including Active Directory Federation Services
