This engagement is with a department within small government agency driving the improved adoption and use of SharePoint Online for collaboration and as an improved intranet platform, and to create and publish dashboards demonstrating Program Management Office (PMO) metrics.


  • Support users and leadership to improve the use of SharePoint within the department, including changes to existing sites, and implementing new sites and designs
  • Provide support implementing new visuals and metrics using Tableau dashboards
  • Serve as the SharePoint site collection administrator and content manager until delegated to other departmental staff
  • Engage in regular and sustained client interaction encompassing both formal presentations and informal routine communication
  • Develop documentation and briefings
  • Perform tasks on time with a high level of diligence and autonomy
  • Engage with technology and business stakeholders and serve as a liaison
  • Design and prototype PMO dashboard metrics using the Tableau tool
  • Support BRMi internal SharePoint site design and update


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, analytical and effective consulting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • 2+ years of Microsoft SharePoint configuration experience (such as a Site or Site Collection Administrator)
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint Online
  • Experience building and deploying complex solutions in SharePoint, such as workflows, InfoPath forms, web parts, metadata, and content types
  • Solid understanding of Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau Desktop or Microsoft Power BI)
  • Ability to design visually appealing pages within SharePoint using Web Parts, HTML, and CSS
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of Technology or Management
  • Must be US citizen

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a government Program Management Office (PMO)
  • 1+ year of Tableau experience
  • Experience with clue creation and tuning within ConceptSearching Concept Classifier
  • Experience with the SharePoint object models (such as the JavasScript Object Model, and REST API)
  • Certification in Microsoft SharePoint and/or Office 365 (e.g., MCSE)
