Our firm is looking for a motivated individual to serve as the Data technical lead of a small team serving the federal government in a data management program office. The project serves a very large enterprise and is responsible for maturing the organization through data governance and architecture to support information sharing. This individual joins our growing practice in Business Analytics and Data Management. The successful candidate is highly proficient in the skills required to manage a Data Management program and also has excellent communication skills and critical thinking skills to simplify the complexity of the program
Primary customer point of contact. - Lead the technical direction of the project and execute tasks - Give direction to 3-4 member team, under the supervision of a part time project manager - Data Governance: - Support the implementation of a new data governance tool - Develop business use case and implement in the data governance tool - Facilitate data stewards and data managers across the enterprise - Manage and participate in enterprise-wide data working groups - Data Architecture: - Update Data Architecture artifacts - Create and maintain content for the Enterprise Information Inventory - Review data artifacts provided during program gate reviews - Data Maturity: - Using an already established data maturity model, implement assessments and recommendations for maturity the data posture within the organization - Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure data maturity and related performance - Data Sharing: - Support Open Data reporting requirements for the enterprise
