  • Overview

    Our firm is in need of an independently minded management/business analyst to support a government agency as a subcontractor. The analyst will provide support for the implementation of a data protection program, that includes the development and establishment of programmatic requirements (enterprise wide); program model; program components; program stakeholders, processes and business owners; tools/technologies in use and needed; data classification standards, information policies and handling guidelines; concept of operations; and organization change management including communication, training, and compliance measures and reporting. The focus of the effort for the next eight months will be in leading a small team conducting work-flow analyses on sensitive systems and documenting business processes surrounding these systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Initiate, schedule, facilitate, and attend workshops/meetings with business and technical subject matter experts or decision makers, government staff and contractors as necessary to gather additional information about data, current processes, and requirements
    • Develop process maps, conduct analysis, produce project documents, analyze, revise, and create other business and technical documentation to ensure consistent business means and outcomes related to any sensitive information used by the government agency
    • Develop business process recommendations to better protect sensitive information
    • Support the development of program management and communication plans, individual project plans, interview questions, surveys, and the documentation of the assessment of individual business areas' management and use of sensitive information
    • Provide technical writing support to update, edit and/or rewrite the existing business area procedures and Job Aids to reflect new or changed processes to include the protection of sensitive information, as well as produce new procedures and Job Aids
    • Implement, update, and maintain the program requirements based on the Requirements Management Strategy and Plan including requirements for critical systems/applications to implement a labeling framework
    • Support the Federal Team by developing stakeholder outreach and briefing materials and documenting minutes and action items
    • Support the ongoing of program documentation and plans

    Qualifications

    Core Skills:

    1. Structured problem solving using complex data

    2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    3. Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently

    4. Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups

    5. Experience with process improvement

    6. Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 and process modeling using MS Visio 2010

    7. Proficiency in change management and stakeholder engagement strategies

    8. Derivation of key findings which are substantiated with data, trends and analytics

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree

    2. 5-years related experience

     

     

    Desired skills:

    1. Agile

    2. Enterprise Architecture experience
