    BRMi is seeking a Change Management Specialist to compile, research, analyze, and document data, requirements, workflow, processes, functionality and/or controls for a large financial client in the Pensacola, Florida area. The candidate selected would develop and evaluate information, and prepare recommendations based on analysis for use in decision making. The candidate selected will be asked to apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices as a technical specialist or advisor while working on the most complex, high impact projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzes and processes Change Requests to ensure adherence to Change Management standards
    • Evaluates Change Requests to properly categorize them based on risk and impact and assigns them to the appropriate subject matter expert(s)
    • Supports enforcement of the Change Management standards and procedures
    • Verifies Change Requests are submitted correctly and accurately describe proposed system changes
    • Communicates regularly with requesters and users of the Change Management process on the required information or updates to their Request for Change throughout the lifecycle of the request
    • Generates and publishes change and release schedules and reports
    • Provides logistical support for Change/Release Coordination and ISD Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
    • Helps educate consumers of the Change Management process on the standards and procedures through training and communications
    • Support Change Evaluation activities both before and after the Request for Change is implemented

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience with Service Management related applications or tools such as Change Management, Service Requests, Problem Management, or Incident Management.
    • Experience working with Change Requests.
    • Ability to provide after-hours on-call support as scheduled.
    • Change Management experience including compiling, researching, analyzing, and documenting data, requirements, workflow, processes, functionality and/or controls.
    • Experience evaluating information to prepare recommendations with direct impacts on decision making.
    • Experience serving as an advisor, lead, or technical specialist.
    • Experience working on complex, high impact projects.
