  • Overview

    BRMi is currently in need of a System administrator to assist with day to day operational management and support of several internal applications and their corresponding server
    infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and monitor overall server health and functionality
    • Maintain documentation pertaining to application, environment, stakeholders and troubleshooting
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, resolve issues
    • Work independently and as a team
    • Determine general patch approach, apply patches
    • Provide after-hours support thru on call rotation and during change windows
    • Follow best practice recommendations from Microsoft
    • Adhere to standard Change Management practices

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Servers (2008, 2012)
    • 4+ years of overall IT experience
    • Member of a team managing multiple servers (medium and large topologies)
    • General knowledge with the following:
      • SDLC and ITIL processes
      • Networking – IP, DNS, Load Balancing
      • Availability, Scalability, and Maintainability
      • Firewalls, encryption and security zones
      • Server event logs
    • Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • Strong communication skills

    Desired:

    •  MS SQL
    • QRM application
    • HP ALM application
