    BRMi seeks a QA/Accessibility Tester to Support one of our large financial clients in the Northern Virginia area. The selected candidate will work with the client's development teams to find functional, technical and accessibility (ADA) compliance issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Work within a Delivery Team and with testing team members to log issues found in JIRA for burn-down tracking and reporting.
    • Perform cross-function testing across browsers and devices of sites and systems to ensure compliance with requirements and client business practices and policies.

    •  

      Review functional and technical requirements to author test cases to ensure proper and complete E2E testing for new or modified sites/systems.
    • Collaborate with multiple roles across Marketing and business units.
    • Support development of Accessibility Planning Approach Document, Accessibility Testing Framework.
    • Define Test Scenarios, and Author Test Scripts based on requirements and Acceptance Criteria.
    • Execute testing activities per Test Strategy.
    • Provide Testing Status via Jira Reports.

    Qualifications

    Experience/skills required:

    • Ability to think critically and work independently in a collaborate, agile environment.
    • Working knowledge of agile delivery and working with agile teams.
    • 1+years accessibility testing experience.
    • Detailed knowledge on WCAG 2.0 AA standard.
    • Detailed knowledge on ARIA.
    • Experience/Expertise using shortcuts and keystrokes for accessibility.
    • Experience/Expertise with JAWS and NVDA for Windows, and VoiceOver for iOS.
    • Ability to interpret and advise based on WCAG 2.0 AA standards.

    Experience/skills preferred:

    • Certified IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
    • Familiarity with Accessibility Management Platform (AMP)
