  • Overview

    This engagement is to support a multi-year contract on a large team of analysts, PMs, and SMEs providing support for a Department Headquarters Office of the CIO (OCIO).

    Provide general program/project management office (PMO) support overseeing and guiding Information Technology (IT) projects, programs, and portfolios.


    • Facilitating monthly Program Status Reporting, for a group of projects (Budget, Schedule, Issues, Risks, Scope, Customer Satisfaction, Action Items).
    • Analyzing and compiling high-level Program Status information from monthly progress updates, or for scheduled Major Investment Program Reviews.
    • Capturing Minutes from meetings with PMs, including for Project Reviews (Filling-out Project Management Practices Checklists, recording Action Items).
    • Maintaining associated Policy, Process, and Procedures documentation.
    • Guiding, facilitating, and executing Compliance policy, process, and procedures involving IT systems (Records and Information Management (RIM), Section 508, and Paperwork Reduction Act).




    Core Skills:

    • Experience with IT Governance domains (Program/Project Oversight, Portfolio Management, and/or PMO Dashboards)
    • Experience with Program or Project Management Offices (PMOs), or Project Management for an individual program/project (Planning and control for Budget, Schedule, Issues, Risks, Scope, Communications, Action Items).
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task and work well under tight deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups
    • Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently
    • Structured problem solving
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to use multiple communication methods (written/visual) to work with all levels of staff
    • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts/relationships, including senior-level managers and technical SMEs
    • RIM or Section 508 experience a plus.
    • Configuration Management experience for CMMi Certification a plus
    • Project Manager (PM) or Project Team Lead (TL) experience a plus
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus



    • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and effective consulting skills
    • Two (2) to Five (5) years experience .



    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of technology or management. MBA or equivalent degree a plus


    Clearance Requirement:

    • U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain a Level 5 Public Trust security clearance
