  • Overview

    This project is to mature an existing small federal agency PMO. The PMO maintains and enhances the program and project management methodologies, processes, tools, and reporting for all application development projects. This already established PMO has a strong foundation set-up and is working toward stage of maturity by institutionalizing Agile practices, consistent reporting, and practical support to projects.  A key element of the PMO is the use of SharePoint Online to support:

    1. Intranet
    2. Standard project health reporting with the use of  MS-Project Online
    3. Project Sites. It will be the responsibility of the Senior SharePoint / Web Developer / Site Administrator to maintain the Intranet and Project sites and develop new functionally within this architecture


    • Operations & Maintenance of Intranet and Project Sites
      • Respond to service tickets for service incidents and service requests
      • Submit change requests for permissions requests
      • Support users obtaining access
      • Update links
    • Workflow Automation
      • Design and develop workflows/automation in SharePoint
    • Integration with Project Online site collection
    • Design and configuration of new project sites
    • Support of department's record management solution in SharePoint
    • Site Re-architecture
      • Lead the re-architecture of the corporate site collections
      • Review architecture options with the client
      • Plan and support the execution of data migration into the new architecture
      • Implement, Test, and Deploy a new architecture


    The ideal candidate to lead this effort has a strong background in SharePoint architecture, workflows, design, development, and administration.


    Minimum Requirements are:

    • 5+ years of related experience with 3 years in SharePoint
    • Expert knowledge in web design & development (especially in SharePoint 2016)
    • Expert knowledge in SharePoint Online (especially in the Government Cloud)
    • Expert knowledge of SharePoint development including business processes and workflows
    • Experience using Javascript to enhance experience in SharePoint sites
    • Excellent written and communication skills across a diverse audience of business, technical, and executives.
    • Shows initiative and drive to improve the environment
    • Proven experience in applying agile practices within the Project Online tool
    • Team player
    • Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field
    • US Citizenship

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with Concept Search
    • Knowledge of dashboarding (utilizing Tableau or Power BI or Microstrategy)
    • Experience with maintaining and configuring Records Center
    • Experience with configuration and development of Project Online
    • Experience with SSRS development and SSIS configuration
