BRMi Consulting is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Orbus iServer Developer.  The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of Enterprise Architecture and has experience and expertise with the Orbus iServer EA toolset.

Responsibilities

Work on a large team to provide expertise with the Orbus iServer toolset, under guidance from a senior iServer SME, to lead and assist with workflow configurations, analytics reporting, data administration, toolset administration, and other tasks as assigned. Immediate tasks include:

  • Reviewing and understanding the Metamodel for Orbus iServer for the Department,
  • Configuring workflows, dashboards, and analytics reporting for Production use by dozens of users
  • Support in rolling-out Governance processes for Department-wide maintenance of the data.
  • Support Senior SME for modification and testing interfaces with other EA toolsets (e.g. Planview) and Capital Planning toolsets (e.g. Oracle Project Portfolio Manager) and other Department repositories (e.g. ServiceNow, Flexera Technopedia)
  • Support for Application Rationalization process, analytics reporting, and projects (e.g. rationalizing 140 Geospatial applications)
  • Ad-hoc repository management tasks
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for Repository Management or Toolset Administration
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Core Skills:

  • Design, configuration, and maintenance of the iServer repository and portal
  • Knowledge of iServer metamodel based on TOGAF/BIZBOK
  • Use of artifact / viewpoint templates using Visio developer mode
  • Creation and use of architecture dashboards using PowerBI
  • Knowledge of review and approval workflow using iServer
  • Experience developing or modifying architecture models
  • Business Process Modelling fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Federal EA frameworks and reference models.
  • Strong communicator able to coordinate across various architecture groups (business, security, and data) and with the Orbus vendor
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3-years relevant progressive functional or technical experience with Orbus iServer.
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience with Enterprise Architecture, EA toolsets, and/or business process workflow toolsets
  • Demonstrated experience and success in the practical design and application of architectural concepts and/or business process modeling
