BRMi is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer with experience in Graph Database to join a dynamic team of dedicated data engineering professionals supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
This role will support innovative and complex data solutions and visualizations to DHS users. The Data Engineer is responsible for collaborating with the technical leads to support the design and development of a knowledge graph and supporting tools in an open-source application environment. This role must be able to build and maintain data models, engineer data architectures, and develop data integrations such as extract, transform, and load (ETL) workflows. Additionally, this individual must work closely with other architecture and engineering disciplines to establish data best practices for analysis, modeling, designing, and building business information systems.
We need an engineer who can dive into the code and create new code to pull together the pipeline. At a senior data engineer level it would also be expected that the candidate would be able to contribute to the vision and articulate the value of a new data architecture that embraces semantic principles.

BS degree in Computer Science or related field/equivalent experience
7 years’ experience
Must be clearable and/or have the ability to obtain a DHS EOD Suitability.
