Overview

BRMi is seeking a Mid-Level Internal CMMI Practitioner (Capability Maturity Model Integration)

/ ISO Auditor. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, facilitating process improvements, and supporting the organization in achieving and maintaining certification.

Responsibilities

  • Internal Audits: Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits to ensure compliance with CMMI and ISO standards. Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Process Evaluation: Assess current processes and practices to ensure alignment with CMMI and ISO requirements. Work with various departments to implement improvements and optimize procedures.
  • Documentation Review: Review and evaluate documentation for compliance with CMMI and ISO standards. Ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to staff on CMMI and ISO standards and best practices. Facilitate workshops and informational sessions to promote understanding and adherence.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor ongoing compliance with CMMI and ISO standards. Track and report on the status of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding CMMI and ISO-related queries. Foster strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal quality management processes. Stay current with industry trends and standards to ensure our practices are up-to-date.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CMMI, ISO Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of CMMI and ISO standards. Prior experience in internal auditing and process improvement is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of CMMI and ISO standards and their application.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: CMMI Lead Appraiser or Equivalent, ISO Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001 Auditor/Lead Auditor) certification preferred.
