BRMi is seeking a Real estate Lending Risk Analyst to support a large financial services client.
*** THIS IS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT ONLY.
Location: Vienna VA or Pensacola FL
•Shift (Time): 8:00am-4:30pm (Slightly flexible)
•Campus Reporting Type: Hybrid with the expectation to report onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.
•Overtime: OT is not available for this contract position
•Contract Length: 6 months from start date

Responsible for supporting the operation of the risk function by evaluating and analyzing
risks of varying complexity and for identifying and implementing approaches and solutions
to mitigate those risks. May have a focus on one or more particular types of risk such as
financial, or operational, risk and may provide advice to management based on this
knowledge base. Typically requires an individual a professional qualification in one or more
areas of risk management or its equivalent. Growing an understanding of business needs
and objectives. Solve a range of mostly straightforward problems with some increased
scope and complexity. Developing professional with basic skill set and proficiency with
procedures and techniques.
Responsibilities
•Plan the research for and development of specialized risk assessment scopes
•Collaborate with management and personnel to optimize risk assessment scope
development
•Identify potential business risks, operational and regulatory process deficiencies and
improvement opportunities
•Gather and synthesize data; present conclusions and offer risk mitigation, remediation
and process improvement solutions to management
•Lead/conduct and provide expertise with the administration of specialized risk
assessment and testing lifecycles of business activities, processes, policies and
procedures for operational effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements,
federal and state laws, and the company’s quality control standards, policies and
procedures
•Basic understanding of business and operating environment
•Knowledge and understanding of risk-based auditing techniques and methodologies
•Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, company policies, and industry
best practices
•Experience with project management skills
•Knowledge of operational and regulatory risk controls concepts and practices
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or related field or equivalent
combination of training, education and experience
•Desired - Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of training, education
and experience.

Vienna VA: $90K
Pensacola FL: $80K
