Overview

BRMi is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Administrator to support the administration, operation, maintenance, and ongoing health of the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for maintaining stable and secure production and non-production environments while supporting platform configurations, upgrades, integrations, plugins, and operational activities.

 

The position works closely with ServiceNow support teams, engineering teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve platform issues, coordinate environment activities, maintain operational readiness, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.

 

**Hybrid in Vienna, VA, Pensacola, FL, or Winchester, VA**

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain ServiceNow production and non-production environments.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, stability, availability, and operational readiness.
  • Manage platform configurations, system properties, plugins, integrations, and platform features.
  • Conduct platform health assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Ensure platform adherence to established security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Support platform maintenance, patches, hotfixes, and security updates.
  • Coordinate instance cloning activities across development, QA, test, and production environments.
  • Maintain environment consistency and alignment between production and non-production instances.
  • Coordinate upgrade preparation, environment validation, testing support, and post-upgrade stabilization activities.
  • Manage developer access requests, administrative permissions, and environment provisioning.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for ServiceNow platform operational support.
  • Lead operational reviews with ServiceNow support teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and track incidents, cases, problem records, change requests, platform advisories, defects, and remediation activities.
  • Escalate critical platform issues and coordinate resolution with ServiceNow support, engineering teams, and vendors.
  • Track platform defects, problem records, support cases, and remediation plans through resolution.
  • Participate in platform governance, change reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow system administration and platform operations.
  • Experience administering and supporting ServiceNow production and non-production environments.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, CSM, Employee Center, Service Catalog, Virtual Agent, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, releases, patches, hotfixes, and maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management processes.
  • Experience coordinating ServiceNow instance cloning and environment management activities.
  • Experience administering ServiceNow integrations, plugins, configurations, and platform features.
  • Experience with operational support, incident resolution, escalation management, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience monitoring platform health, performance, stability, and operational readiness.
  • Understanding of platform security, compliance, governance, and access management practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and platform support teams.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications preferred.
